MyMedicare is a new voluntary patient registration initiative started on 1 October that is aimed to strengthen the relationship between you as a patient, your doctor and your primary care team. Benefits include funding for longer telehealth appointments, greater continuity of care. It also enables better communication between hospitals and your doctor regarding your care. 20 – 30 minutes = $155.00 (GAP – $109.95) or Long Consultation if MyMedicare registered.

20 minutes = $97.00 (GAP – $35.20)

30 minutes = $155.00 (GAP – $93.20)

Repeat prescriptions are done via phone consultations with your doctor. If you have been seen at the practice in person for a consultation in the last 12 months you are eligible for a bulk billed telephone consultation. If it has been over 12 months since you have been seen in person at the practice by one of our doctors you will need to make an appointment to see a doctor in person or alternatively have a full out of pocket telephone consultation with your doctor.

If there is no phone appointments available within a reasonable time frame, a message will be sent to your doctor with your request – in these instances, there may be a charge of $11.00.

Urgent on the day prescription requests will attract a fee of $20.00 with payment to be made at the time of ordering.

Procedure fees skin excisions & in-grown toe nails:

  • $150.00 non-concessional
  • $100.00 Health care card holders
  • $75.00 Pensioners

Punch Biopsy: $75.00 All

Infusion fees:

  • $150.00 payers
  • $125.00 Concession

Children under 12 will continue to be bulk billed.

Failure to attend appointments without sufficient notice (two hours) will result in a letter informing you of your non-arrival and incur a $40.00 fee for a single appointment and a $80.00 fee for double appointment bookings.

If this occurs three times in a row you may be asked to seek treatment elsewhere.

As of October 1st, we are moving to a mixed billing practice. Concession Card, Health Care card holders and children under 12 will be bulk billed.
