Important

Appointments will not be made unless all outstanding accounts have been paid

From 1st November 2025, we will be participating in the federal government’s Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP).

This means nearly all consultations will be bulk-billed. The BBPIP does not include procedural item numbers, so most minor surgeries booked in will attract a fee and Medicare rebate, e.g:

  • Skin excisions (cancers, cyts etc)
  • Ingrown toenail surgery

Other non-Medicare billing will continue as before, eg workers comp, work/recreation medicals, and non-Medicare card holders.

We hope this change benefits many patients, and helps attract like-minded doctors to our wonderful community.

Fees may vary due to the length and complexity of a consultation and are determined by individual GP’s, but are based on the Government’s Medicare Schedule.

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by Cash (Correct amount), EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners cards).

All after hours consultations and home visits are charged at the full rate unless otherwise directed by the doctor.

The maximum out of pocket expense after the Medicare rebate is usually in the order of $45.00, this practice offers immediate Medicare refunds into your bank account by EFTPOS through TYRO.

Prescriptions

Since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic we have been doing repeat prescriptions via phone consultations with your doctor. If you have been seen at the practice in person for a consultation in the last 12 months you are eligible for a bulk billed telephone consultation. If it has been over 12 months since you have been seen in person at the practice by one of our doctors you will need to make an appointment to see a doctor in person or alternatively have a full out of pocket telephone consultation with your doctor.
